

FRONT OF HOUSE ASSISTANT
Part Time
The Front of House Team here at Cross Lane House play a very important role in welcoming and hosting guests, accommodating their requirements and ensuring their visit is a highly enjoyable occasion (one which they would like to repeat!).
We’re looking for an individual who demonstrates good interpersonal skills, who preferably (but not essential) have experience of working within busy hospitality environments, has good attention to detail, are willing to learn and has a good work ethic.
Whilst these are traits that are important to us, we want to ensure a fun and enjoyable (but professional) work place experience for our team, so make sure to bring the energy and good vibes.
M A I N D U T I E S (but are not limited to) :

To support the team in the set of up of all restaurant (daytime and evening) service areas
-
To ensure public areas, including bathroom facilities and sanitising stations are kept clean and fully stocked
-
To provide a warm and friendly welcome to hotel residents and the public upon their arrival to Cross Lane House
-
To deliver an exceptional service to hotel residents and the public during their visit to Cross Lane House, providing assistance when required
-
To be confident in taking orders, making recommendations and serving meals and drinks to guests
-
To handle any guest complaints calmly and professionally, reporting any issues straight to a manager for them to investigate further

To notify the manager when stocks and supplies are looking low
-
To communicate and work closely with other team members across the business to achieve the same goal and improve efficiency

To have a high regard to attention to detail, reporting any flaws or risks identified in presentation of public areas, food and drinks being served
R E Q U I R E M E N T S :
-
Basic understanding of Food & Beverage service, as well as the expectations within the Hospitality Industry
-
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to make guests feel welcomed and looked after during their visit to Cross Lane House
-
The ability to be flexible and work well within a team during a shift, offering support to colleagues across areas of the business where required

To be able to use initiative, multi-task and juggle competing priorities throughout a shift, whilst remaining calm and professional at all times

To take pride in presentation and personal hygiene

Due to the nature of evening work, preferable age of applicant is 16years +

(Mornings & Evening Shifts available, Tuesday - Saturday) -
