Dogs are allowed downstairs in the Bar and Lounge area but not in the dining room.
How accessable is Cross Lane House?
Cross Lane House welcomes everyone. We endeavour to treat all our guests and customers the same regardless of disability or impairment and according to their needs.
The house was built around 1545, and many of the original features are still in place today. The building can therefore provide some challenges with access. Unfortunately at present, we do not have any ground floor or disabled access rooms, however, within our long-term plans for the business, we do hope to change this making Cross Lane House more accessible to everyone. Please note that there is no lift within the building and all of our bedrooms are on the first floor.
There is a large car park with a short walk through the courtyard to the front of the house. To avoid the historic cobbles on the way, guests that require easier access would be more than welcome to use the side entrance, brining you into the house through the Dining Room. There is a disabled toilet on the ground floor.
We aim to cater our menus to suit as many dietary needs as possible, but if you have any questions or more complex dietary requirements, please do inform us in advance so we can best prepare ahead of your arrival.
Should you have any additional requirements that we can help with at all, please do let us know.
Cross Lane House has a no-smoking policy. We politely ask that should you need to smoke or vape, you do so outside within our beautiful surrounding grounds. Ashtrays will be provided.
We are a dog friendly hotel, so guide dogs would of course be very welcome!

Should you suffer from any food allergies or intolerances please make our staff know in advance.

O2 and Vodaphone seem to have the best signal reach.
